Organizations partnered to raise more than $1500 for local rescue

Globe University provided baths, nail trims, ear cleanings and brushings to more than 100 dogs and raised $1,561 for Bob's House. Representatives from Globe University and Pet Food Plus will present Bob’s House with a check on Thursday, August 13 at 9 a.m. at the rescue facility.

Globe University Massage Therapy Students Offer Relief to Those Living with Cancer

Students to provide massages and information on the benefits of massage therapy

Globe University is offering Tracy Walton’s Oncology Training for massage therapy students, an intense workshop culminating in a clinic experience on Sunday, July 12 at 1 p.m., during which two dozen massage therapy students from Minnesota and Wisconsin will invite members of the community who are actively receiving cancer treatments to experience an effective massage and better educate them on the importance of massage therapy.

On Friday, June 19, Globe Education Network (GEN), a collaborative body of career colleges, universities and training centers, will host the eighth annual We Care community service day. One thousand two hundred employees from Globe University and Minnesota School of Business, Broadview University, Minnesota School of Cosmetology, Broadview Entertainment Arts University and the Institute of Production and Recording will volunteer their time with dozens of organizations.

Globe University Receives Workforce Development Pilot Program Grant

$100,000 from City of Sioux Falls to provide local businesses with a highly trained and qualified workforce

Globe University, a leader in post-secondary higher education, is proud to announce it has been awarded a $100,000 grant by the City of Sioux Falls. The City created the Workforce Development Pilot Program to provide funding to support activities, ideas and initiatives related to the city’s workforce challenges. Globe University proposed to use its grant to provide local businesses with a dual-training program tailored to attract and develop a highly qualified and productive workforce, and was selected to receive 20 percent of the funds the City has dedicated to this effort.
