Veterinary Technology Students Provide Assistance During Vaccine Clinic
Veterinary Technology Students participated in a vaccine clinic service learning project at Petco West in Green Bay. Dr. Wolfe from Animal Hospital of DePere led the project and Globe University students assisted by restraining animals, performing nail trims and educating clients on important issues like heartworm testing.

Dr. Sarah Wolfe stated, “The students have been energetic, self-motivated and easy to work with.  I hope that their experience has been as positive as ours.  Thank you for sharing in this community service!”

The students learned the importance of professionalism, proper technique and appropriate terminology while working on this project. The ability to work in such a high-visibility project allowed students to learn skills that will help them as they soon transition into the workforce.
