Clinton Kanieski Globe University Information Technology Program Chair

What is your role at Globe University-La Crosse?

I am the Information Technology Program Chair here at Globe.  I am responsible for the IT program which includes: promotion of the program, coordinating the classes along with the faculty to teach them, reviewing books, texts, and other curriculum based initiatives, and helping the students with questions, issues and other assistance.
I teach computer literacy courses, network courses, operating system courses, and network
security courses.

How long have you been with Globe University-La Crosse?

I have been at this role for a few weeks.

What did you do before you came to Globe University-La Crosse?
IT
Prior to coming to Globe, I was a Network Administrator for a financial institution.

What are you looking forward to most at Globe University-La Crosse?
IT
The most exciting part of being at Globe is teaching and assisting the students.  Watching the students succeed and accomplish their goals is very enjoyable.

What bit of advice would you share with the Globe University-La Crosse Students?
IT
Students must remember that discipline, self-motivation and focus are important, but to truly accelerate at one’s discipline, you must dream.
