Criminal Justice Students Visit Grand Chute Police Department

The Into the Criminal Justice class took a field trip to the Grand Chute Police Department for a tour hosted by Corporal Mike Bartlein. It was very informative for the new CJ students as it encompassed all aspects of the criminal justice process from the patrol to investigations to evidence processing to the municipal courts.

The students seemed to be particularly interested in Grand Chutes high tech  patrol cars and the Crime Scene Investigations (CSI) truck.  It’s always a good day when we can take the “bookwork” of academia and apply it to a hands on demonstration.
