Steppin’ Out in Pink is a walk to support the fight against breast cancer! On Saturday, September 8, join hundreds of volunteers walking 5 miles on the South Side of La Crosse to fundraise for breast cancer research and raise awareness. To join the team, connect with Stephanie Schultz, Medical Assistant Program Instructor, and register online here. If you don’t want to walk, you can help with registration! The Globe walking team will be meeting at 9:30am on Saturday, September 8 outside the main doors of the Gundersen Lutheran Founders building to group up before walking the route together.

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is a local event to raise funds and community support for the Alzheimer’s Association. Ashley Storandt, a Globe University medical assistant student, is organizing a team of walkers to participate on the event on Saturday, September 22 at 9am. Walkers participate in a short walk around riverside park in downtown La Crosse. To join this team email Ashley Storandt for information. To learn more about the event, click here.
