Did you know Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity (TCHFH) builds and/or rehabs more than 55 homes (single-family, twin or multi-unit) each year? Meanwhile, hundreds of families continue to apply for homes annually.
NTI School of Technology Globe University Woodbury students in the new Architectural Technology program spent a day volunteering with TCHFH by using skills gained in the classroom to help build a split-entry home for a local family.
TCHFH Constituent Management Assistant, Riley Moynihan comments on how he was very impressed with the students’ work ethic and strong knowledge of architecture, drafting and construction.
Students recognized the need for volunteers with TCHFH and had such a great time applying their skills. They would like to make it an ongoing partnership, notes Architectural Technology Program Chair, John Hartman.
