New Study: Nursing, Accounting, Mechanical Engineering Among Highest Paying Majors

Nursing, accounting and mechanical engineering are among the top 50 highest paying college majors, according to a recent study by Glassdoor.

Glassdoor analyzed nearly 500,000 resumes and the median base salary from each major for the first pretty young blonde college student smiling while working/writinfive years of being in the workforce.

“With approximately 70 percent of American high school graduates enrolling in colleges and universities each year, a college degree has become a stepping stone to landing a great first job,” according to a statement on Glassdoor.com.

However, not all degrees are created equal. STEM majors take the top spots, but there are other majors that can pay high as well.
