Emergency Services Day

Saturday, June 9, Globe-Appleton campus

We’re looking for volunteers! Come out to campus and help with Emergency Services Day—an on-campus event that provides area first responder organizations an opportunity to show case their personnel, equipment and mission. It also provides area residents an opportunity to meet their emergency responders and learn safety skills. Local organizations that will be represented include police, fire, military, etc.

Many police and fire departments and special units were invited as are emergency medical units, nongovernmental organizations, and volunteer organizations active in disasters are invited to showcase their mission and capabilities.

Help is needed before, during, and after the event.  More details and exact needs will be identified as planning continues.  For now there is a need for help in set up and clean up before and after the event.
