Do You Want a Free Massage?

Globe University Massage Therapy students perform chair massages for volunteers in 2012.

Calling all volunteers! Do you want a free massage? Here’s your chance!

Globe University students in the massage therapy school want to pamper volunteers who serve their community.

We at Globe University in Appleton know that volunteers can be the heart and soul of a community. It takes time, effort and passion to donate your time to organizations and causes, and we want to reward your efforts!

Students in the Business of Massage, Swedish Massage and Interpersonal Relations classes are teaming together to plan Globe University’s 2nd annual Volunteer Appreciation Day. The Volunteer Appreciation Day will be a night filled with food, fun and massages.

If you are a volunteer for any cause throughout the Fox Valley, please join us. You will be able to mingle with other volunteers, feast on an array of refreshments courtesy of area restaurants, and you could even win a door prize! Also, you’ll be taking home a bag full of goodies courtesy of area businesses and Globe University. You can also learn about the massage school and get more information.

Event details:

  • Date: Thursday, March 14, 2013
  • Time: 4 pm to 7 pm
  • Who: Anyone who commits time to an organization as a volunteer
  • Where: Globe University-Appleton, 5045 W. Grande Market Dr., Grand Chute, WI

One of the highlights of the Volunteer Appreciation Day is the Swedish Massage – an opportunity to let our massage therapy students get some hands-on experience while you get the relaxation! Chair massages will also be available courtesy of the Massage Therapy program. All massages are performed in front of a licensed massage therapist.

An RSVP is required to receive a Swedish massage, so make sure you call today! Spots are filling up fast. Contact Kristin at (920) 364-1138. If you’d prefer to just receive a chair massage, there is no need to reserve your spot… you can just show up!

So as you head on out to volunteer today, remember that we do appreciate all that you do!
