Massage Students Lend a Hand at Walk MS: Raising Awareness for Multiple Sclerosis

Globe University Massage Therapy students volunteered their time during the “Walk MS” walk on April 29.

They gave massages to particpants walking during the annual fundraiser that raises money and awareness for multiple sclerosis.

More than 500 walkers came out to Appleton North High School to particpate in this year’s festivities that included a 3-mile route around Northern Appleton. More than 12,000 people are signed up to particpate in the events nationwide!

Money raised will go towards the National MS Society in hopes to someday find a cure for this disease. They even had a picture taken with the Milwaukee Brewers’ racing sausages!

We’d like to thank the students and staff that volunteered their time to give massages during this great event!
