Through the Eyes of A Graduate

Globe University student Melissa Laux was at a place in her life where she wanted a change. After a divorce, she realized she wanted to get a step ahead of others as she re-entered the workforce. She soon learned that enrolling at Globe University would give her the opportunity she was looking for.

Melissa, a medical administrative assistant student earning her Associate in Applied Science, soon learned that she loved the atmosphere at Globe University and excelled in classes and extracurricular activities. “If I could give one piece of advice to others, it would be to not wait so long to go back to school,” Laux said. She even has hopes of possibly going back to school to earn another degree.

Melissa is one of three graduates from Globe University Appleton that will walk across the stage on Thursday night during the joint graduation ceremony with Globe University Green Bay. Joining her will be Nikolaas Sobey (Diploma, Massage Therapy) and Meghan Herbst (Associate in Applied Science, Medical Assistant). The ceremony will take place at the Marq in Depere at 6 pm.

Congratulations to Melissa, Nikolaas and Meghan as they embark on a new journey after graduation. Thank you for all of your hard work through your time as a student at Globe University Appleton. And as Melissa would say, “Live each day as if it was your last!”
