Have your heard about this new Student LaunchPad? The Globe University-Woodbury campus Academic/Online Learning Coordinator Megan Powell explains what the new Student LaunchPad is and how it will benefit our students, staff and faculty.
“The LaunchPad is a wonderful new resource that is available to students and is full of information that will help you throughout your time at Globe University-Woodbury campus,” said Powell. “The LaunchPad is located in your course list, which can be found in the Home Tab or in the Student Center Tab, under Courses.”
This resource is built inside CampusConnect to help support students with things like new student onboarding, ongoing student services, as well as support all the way up through and after graduation. Inside the LaunchPad you will find resources and information on the following topics:
- Applied learning
- iPads, eBooks and software
- Technology troubleshooting
- Financial aid for all students—new, current and graduating
- Learning style and study habit tips
- Library services and APA citation
- Career services—including tips on resumes, LinkedIn and networking
- Online course resources
- Math and writing boot camps for skill refreshers
- Military resources and benefits
- And much, much more!
“LaunchPad will also be a valuable engagement tool for staff and faculty with students across campuses,” said Globe Education Network (GEN) Director of Operations Seth Tesdall. “The goal of LaunchPad is to transform and improve the student experience outside of the classroom.”
Powell encourages students to log in and explore LaunchPad so that they know what resources are available in order to help them be successful throughout their time here at the Globe University-Woodbury campus.
“We are here to support you throughout your education, and this is just one more resource available to you to help you be successful,” said Powell.
