Globe University – La Crosse has added an additional member to its admissions team, Jessica Kenney Raupp. After training at the Woodbury Campus and at the La Crosse Campus in March, Jessica has just started scheduling interview appointments with prospective students this month.
Please help us welcome Jessica to our campus!
Jessica is from Grand Forks, North Dakota. She attended both the University of Minnesota – Crookston and the University of North Dakota. Jessica majored in marketing and human resources and minored in rehabilitation and human services.
Jessica’s husband is from the Wisconsin Dells area. She said she and her husband decided that they would move from North Dakota to Wisconsin “when the time was right.” Jessica said that when she saw the admissions position, she thought it was “too perfect,” and decided that she had to apply to it.
“I’m so glad I did,” Jessica said.
When asked how she feels about her new position, Jessica responded, “I haven’t worked in admissions before but I’m excited for this new adventure!” She continued, “I’m looking forward to working with students, my new colleagues, and the La Crosse community. Everyone here has been so great and I look forward to getting to know everyone.”
“Jessica is outgoing, friendly, and truly wants to make a difference. She will exude the ‘We Care’ philosophy and is an amazing addition to the Admissions Team,” Rachel Krueger, the director of admissions, said.
Jessica’s advice for prospective students is, “Always look for the silver lining. There is always something to be grateful for – even on the worst of days.”
When she’s not working in admissions, Jessica likes to read, spend time with her husband and three cats, and take weekend trips to new places.
Jessica said that she also likes “high fives, learning, and laughing.” She continued, “If you want to stop by and teach me something, tell me a good joke, or stop by for a high five, I’d be happy to see you!”
