The Minnesota School of Business (MSB)-Richfield campus hosts a quarterly Student Appreciation Day(s) for the students by serving them complimentary lunch and dinner. This past quarter the campus decided to host an Oscars themed Student Appreciation day filled with movie theater food, awards and a $25 Visa gift card. They served more than 250 students, showing them how much the staff and faculty appreciates them.

“We appreciate the food and the people handing it out,” Aimee Edwards, a second-year nursing student, said.

Kristine Venaglia, a nursing student pursuing her bachelor’s, commented on how she loved seeing Kendra Saal, dean of the nursing program and the nursing faculty, in a relaxed and informal environment at Student Appreciation.

According to the MSB – Richfield Campus Director, Miriam Williams, MSB is a family-owned system of career colleges, who strive to continuously support and show our students that we do appreciate them.

“It’s our job to help our students feel appreciated in order for them to be as successful as they can be from the moment they enroll until after they graduate,” Miriam said. “That’s why our campus will continue to host Student Appreciation and other events to show how much we care for our students.”
