Andrea came to Globe with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and then went on to earn a Master’s of Science and Management with an emphasis in Managerial Leadership from Globe. After joining the Globe family, she quickly proved to be an influential asset to the team. She started as an admissions representative at Globe University-Eau Claire. Within a year, she went on to help open the Globe University-Madison West campus, and then continued on to help open the Globe University-Wausau campus as their director of admissions and now, most recently, the campus director.

Although she has worn many hats throughout her time at Globe, her mission remains the same: helping people. “When a student comes to me uncertain that they can make their dream of getting their education a reality, I love the opportunity to be their support system and find ways to help them reach their goals,” she says. “There is no better feeling than seeing that person be able to walk across the graduation stage.”

One of Andrea’s favorite parts of her new role is the ability to problem solve and take on the challenges that each day brings. “Working, talking and building relationships with both students and staff is very important to me,” she says. “It’s a goal of mine to help everybody collaborate and grow as a team.”

She’s learned the value in building relationships through some of the best advice she’s ever been given. “My mother always said that listening is the most important thing,” she says. “Never assume, always find out the whole story.”

When she’s not on campus, Andrea enjoys playing volleyball, swimming and spending time with her son. Currently, she and her family are working on a remodeling project on their cabin up north. In addition, she also happens to really enjoy singing karaoke. If you see her, ask her to sing “Bring Me to Life,” by Evanescence—it’s one of her favorites!

Andrea is an optimistic, open-minded and driven individual. She is looking forward to implementing many positive changes on campus. I asked her to share one piece of advice that she would like to pass on: “Always work toward your goals,” she says. “Whatever you want to do, do it! Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t.”
