On the last day of classes, after the last final was completed, students from HS102 (Introduction to Exercise Science) celebrated the end of quarter by taking a Sky Aerobics class at the SkyZone Trampoline Park. The class was instructed by our very own (soon-to-be graduated!) Health Fitness Speciaslit student, Jon Nichols. Jon completed his externship this quarter at SkyZone and was immediately hired as a group fitness instructor.
Jon put the class through an awesome, sweaty, 60-minute workout that was both challenging and fun. Sky Aerobics is the latest group exercise class that is low impact and therefore easy on the joints. Participants can burn up to 1000 calories per hour in this class and is ideal for all fitness levels.
It was great to experience a class lead by a Globe University Health Fitness Specialist student – congratulations again, Jon, and thanks for the workout!
