Globe University – Plymouth campus welcomes Chris Dixon! Chris received his master’s degree in Education in Applied Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Minnesota. He additionally has a B.S. in Sport Management with a coaching minor from the University of Minnesota.
While at the U of M, Chris spent 5 years as a triple/long jumper on the Men’s Track & Field team winning a Big Ten Championship and NCAA Midwest Regional Championship in 2003. In 2002-03 he posted a triple jump of 51’6″ thereby ranking him 20th in the nation at that time and 3rd all-time at the University of Minnesota. Chris was also a strength and conditioning intern and speed coordinator for the football team under head coach Glen Mason.
Currently, Chris owns Insider Training, Inc. – an in-home personal training company. Prior to starting his own company, he worked at Bally’s, Northwest Athletic Club, and Life Time Fitness.
Chris will be teaching HS 325 Methods in Sports Training and looks forward to not only teaching, but learning as well while at Globe University.
