Nicole Nieman is a certified veterinary technician and has been working in the veterinary field since 2003. Nicole graduated from Argosy University with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. She is a member of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, the Minnesota Association of Veterinary Technicians, the Association of Veterinary Technician Educators and the Minnesota Career College Association.
She began working in higher education in 2007 as an adjunct instructor and in 2012 began working full time as the veterinary technology program chair at Globe University – Woodbury. Her background includes: Lead Veterinary Technician, Practice Manager, Lead Data Analyst and Equipment Specialist, Surgical Research Technician and Executive Program Chair. She has been awarded the Excellence Award in Applied Learning in 2014, Faculty Member of the Year in 2013, Faculty of the Quarter in 2013 and presented at the Minnesota Career College Association in 2013.
Currently she is working on completing her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and will then pursue her Masters of Science in Business Administration.
