Al Klimek, Brown County Medical Examiner, gave a presentation on campus focused on the roles and responsibilities of a Medical Examiner. Al captivated the audience, a classroom filled with students, staff and faculty. He used his sense of humor to lighten the mood when explaining some of the more gruesome events that he has responded to in his position.
As Al spoke to students about his responsibilities, he shared particular case stories and pictures as examples. This presentation was a part of our on-going Criminal Justice Workshop Series. Much to our surprise, Al has opened up the potential opportunity for our students to view an autopsy if they would like to do so. What a great opportunity for our students!
