On Monday, August 27, Globe University’s Green Bay campus partnered with Indira Salon and Spa to provide four deserving students free makeovers to help prepare them for their new careers. Salon experts volunteered their time during off-hours to help transform the students into professionals with hair cuts and coloring, waxing and make-up applications. Students were also given advice on how to manage their hair along with other practical tips to maintain their new professional looks in the future. In addition to the makeover, each recipient also walked away with a goodie bag filled with Aveda products.
Tracey Nass, the owner of the salon, and Meagan Marcell, Salon Manager, selected the makeover recipients as a part of Globe University-Green Bay’s professionalism quarter, during which the school hosts a series of programs and events to educate students about the importance of self-image and professionalism.
