Globe Green Bay receives well-deserved awards!

The Green Bay Campus and two faculty members earned well-deserved awards for 2011!

Kristin Thyrion, Financial Aid Administrator, won Staff of the Year. Kristin started in June 2010 when the Green Bay Campus was just opening! “The atmosphere at Globe was a perfect fit for me. I love working with students who are just getting started with going
back to school. It is exciting to help them get started and they are always
glad when they can get one on one help with their financial aid” stated Kristin.

Laura Nelson, our Paralegal Program Chair, won Instructor of the Year. Laura started with Globe in July, 2010, teaching Legal Terminology.  She chose Globe because it offered her an opportunity to return to the classroom.
I asked Laura to describe how it felt to receive this award and she replied: “I love

my job, and I’m passionate to provide my students with every advantage they will need to succeed in their careers.  Their success is my success.”

Overall Campus Awards for Green Bay included:

Academic Services of the Year.
Academic Delivery of the Year.

What a great way to ring in this New Year.  Good work Globe University Green Bay.  Keep up the Great work!
