Looking into Long Term Care; What you need to know

The definition of long term care (LTC) has been expanding to address the needs of the elderly and the future needs of the baby-boomer generation. Nursing homes (SNF), adult day care services, assisted living, Intermediate Care facilities, Home care, and Custodial care are a few examples of the types of care for the elderly.   In a HCM Capstone course, student Amber Ehnstrom researched the different types of services, the costs, and how some of the programs can be paid for, including Medicaid and Medicare.
