There are so many.  Collegiate DECA Regionals at St. Cloud, Minnesota– I had a student who was thinking “what am I doing here?” He had not performed well in his chosen category at a previous competition.  He challenged himself to “knock it out of the park”.  After his competition was complete,  he had placed 1st in his competition and had achieved one of the highest ever scores in that event.

Our recent community luncheon was a very proud moment for me as a member of this campus.  Welcoming our community guests to our campus and sharing with them our accomplishments and our goals as a community partner was a wonderful opportunity.  The feedback from the community partners at my table was positive and uplifting.  We are well on our way to establishing our Globe University footprint in our community.

What bit of advice would you share with the Globe University-La Crosse Students?
DeAnn Perzel
Focus on your goal.  Identify who in your life is going to help you realize that goal.  Write yourself a letter and indicate in that letter what your goal is, who is going to help you achieve it, and why you will not give up.  Someday, when classes have you down, open that letter and read it. Call those people you stated would help you realize your goal and get back in focus.
