Accolades Awarded to Globe University Employees for Outstanding Performance
2011 was a terrific year for Globe University-La Crosse. To celebrate the success of
the University, and to honor the achievements of faculty and staff, Globe University-La Crosse, along with eight other Globe University schools (Madison-East, Madison-West, Appleton, Wausau, Green Bay, Eau Claire, Rochester, and Sioux Falls) gathered together in La Crosse, Wisconsin on December 16, 2011.
At the annual holiday banquet, staff and faculty were honored for their tremendous service to their schools. In La Crosse, employees were recognized for outstanding performance and their dedication to student success. Dawn Boayue and Brady Lowe were both selected by staff, faculty, and students to be honored with these distinctions.
Dawn Boayue, Chair of the Medical Assistant Program, was presented with the Faculty
of the Year Award for her commitment to student and faculty success and program
advancement both on campus and in the community.
Brady Lowe, Communications and Community Relations, was honored as the Staff Person
of the Year Award for his dedication to campus growth in the community and his
success engaging students, faculty, and staff in multiple community service efforts.
Of the eight Globe Universities in attendance at the banquet, Globe University-La Crosse was honored with additional accolades. Suzanne Miller, Campus Librarian, received the Librarian of the Year Award for truly making the library an inviting place and terrific resource for students. Sue is always excited to help the students and is invested in student success.
In addition, the Best Practice of the Year Award was given to Globe University-La Crosse. The campus received this honor for a practice that was created to welcome new students to Globe University-La Crosse and to introduce them to their programs, Program Chairs, and Instructors. This packet of information is also shared with Admissions, Program Advisory Committee Members, and as a marketing tool. It brings together Admissions and Program Chairs to better connect with students. Sean Parker, Dean of Faculty, and Stephanie Cline, Campus Director, accepted this award.
