Globe University-La Crosse truly appreciates their terrific partnership with the Coulee Region Humane Society. Globe students and faculty get the pleasure of working with Humane Society dogs, cats, and other pets to attain experience in providing examinations, administering vaccinations, and assisting in health procedures. In turn, the Humane Society animals receive care from Globe students and staff at no cost. It’s a wonderful win-win relationship!

To show support of their partnership, the Globe-La Crosse Veterinary Technician Faculty: Dr. Chrissy O’Neil, Nancy Unnasch, Amy Stinson, Elayne Hass, Michelle Powell, along with Brady Lowe, Communications and Community Relations Specialist, attended 2012 Coulee Region Humane Society Banquet. Karen, a Vet Tech student and staff member at VCA Sand Lake Animal Hospital also attended to support the Humane Society.  At the event, the Globe guests were able to connect with Humane Society staff and volunteers to show their gratitude of their partnership.

Globe University Vet Tech staff and students look forward to continuing to grow their partnership with the Coulee Region Humane Society with wonderful service learning projects, volunteer support, and fundraising efforts! The Spayghetti and Fixins fundraiser is right around the corner: March 29! Globe students and staff will be participating in this tasty fundraiser!
