The Lakeville campus of Minnesota School of Business has been taking the time to meet with students and really connect with them on what matters. The administration team, which includes campus director Jennifer Pullin, associate dean of faculty Joel Bisser and associate dean of students Lisa Folch, has been making every effort to connect with students in new and fun ways.
Recently, Joel and Lisa held a “Beat the Deans” beanbag event, asking students to form teams and take them on in a fun and competitive game of beanbag. Students had the chance to win prizes against the “undisputed beanbag champs” of Lakeville. They offered Halloween candy and soft drinks as an added incentive. Students were able to face off against the deans and talk in a relaxed environment.
In addition to this fun event, campus director Jennifer Pullin holds regular “Coffee with the Campus Director” events where students and staff can stop by and grab a cookie or a donut, a cup of coffee, and chat informally with her. She holds these meetings at various times and on various days, generally every other week or so. It’s a great opportunity to get to know Jennifer and have a delicious treat.
Jennifer said, “Look for signs and an email announcing the next coffee date soon!” With the transition to CareerPath coming up, MSB Lakeville wants to make sure that students know their voices are being heard. Now’s a great time to connect with the administration team!
