Still not convinced in attending? Here are the top 8 reasons why Globe University-Madison students need to attend.

1. Knowledge is power: Network with employers in your field to learn more about the company and future career or internship/externship opportunities.

2. Get your foot in the door: If you are a current student, you can explore part time or full time opportunities within your field that could be a fit while obtaining your degree.

3. Practice makes perfect: Sharpen your networking and presentation skills while interacting with local businesses in your career field.

4. Get help: Gain valuable feedback and advice from professionals in different fields by having them look over your resume and cover letter. It’s also an opportunity to learn about what they are looking for in an employee.

5. Alumni welcome: We welcome Globe University Alumni to join us. Whether you are still looking or looking for a job change, this is a great opportunity to connect with employers and reconnect with students, faculty and staff.

6. Did someone say free lunch: Students who participate by having a conversation with at least two participating employers will receive access to a complimentary lunch.

7. You could possibly land a job: With just five networking/job fairs under Globe University-Madison East and West’s belt, there have been multiple occurrences where students who connected with employers resulted in interviews and for a few, an actual job.

8. Just do it: Past attendees have shared a lot of positive feedback on the event including one student who said, “It was a good way to communicate and understand the qualifications needed for specific career fields, also to help decide your ultimate career goal.”

So what are you waiting for?  Students, alumni and guests, we look forward to seeing you at Globe University-Madison West for another successful fair.
