Globe University – Madison East Dedicates New Flag Pole

Globe University – Madison East dedicated the new flag pole on campus on Tuesday, July 31, 2012.  The dedication ceremony kicked off Globe’s 3rd annual Community Appreciation Day.

The ceremony’s detail included students Scott Zautke – Air National Guard, Josh Rose – Marine Corps, and Military Advisor Anthony Barone – Retired Air National Guard.

“The flag pole is an exciting addition to our campus,” said Campus Director Rocky Klitzke.  “The American flag is a true symbol of our freedom, independence, and sacrifice by those who have defended our freedom. We hope that the flag at this campus is a great reminder of our country, our military students, and all of those that have faithfully served our country.”

Globe University is committed to supporting our country’s military members, their spouses, and dependents through providing quality education.

The Community Appreciation Day also featured free food and beverages, balloon twisting, games, a bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, and an emergency services expo. Over 300 people attended throughout the day.
