The Student Chapter National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (SCNAVTA) recently held a lunch fundraiser on campus.

Various delicious soups, sandwiches, desserts and soft drinks were sold in the commons area during the early afternoon hours.

From their efforts, the group raised $400.

Catt Gottschalk, SCNAVTA Editor proudly explained where their profits went, “We are donating $200 to Green County Humane Society because that is where we are getting our animals from right now.  $100 to Dodge County Humane Society because we got animals from them in the past and may get from them in the future and $100 to the “Help Me Heal Fund” which is a fund we recently started here at school to help pay for animals that may need additional care, medications/treatments or diagnosing.”

Great job SCNAVTA! We look forward to more fundraisers in the future.
