Staff Spotlight: Introducing Our New Front Desk Staff

Have you met our new front desk staff, Grace Maring and Amanda Jones? Both joined us at the beginning of Summer Quarter. Helpful, friendly and outgoing are just a few words to describe these two welcome additions to the Globe University-Madison West campus community!

Grace Maring, daytime administrative assistant

Grace is our new daytime administrative assistant. She grew up in Verona, and after graduating high school there, she continued her education at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Grace earned a Bachelor of Administration degree in Organizational Communications and graduated with honors.

After Eau Claire, Grace earned a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Paralegal Studies.  She currently works at Sephora in West Towne Mall when she is not at Globe. In her free time, she likes to read and spend time with family and friends. When asked what excites her most about her new job Grace said, “In this position, I look forward to being in an academic setting and helping people, as I have a history in customer service and find it very rewarding!”

Amanda is our new evening administrative assistant. She is also a Globe University graduate and current student! Amanda holds an Associate in Applied Science degree in Music Business from Globe University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Regis University and is continuing her studies for her Master of Business Administration degree with a Marketing Emphasis with Globe University.

Amanda Jones, evening administrative assistant

Amanda’s hobbies include building her entrepreneurial business for musicians, going to concerts and meeting musicians. When asked what she is looking forward to in her new position, Amanda said, “Supporting students in a way that they feel empowered to fulfill their own dreams.”

Grace and Amanda are eager to meet Madison West students, so stop by the front desk and introduce yourself. Students should also contact our new administrative assistants for campus questions, making appointments with staff and faculty and much more.
