Students, faculty and community members donated to participate in the massage drive. “This was my second [massage] fundraiser,” shared Julie Everson, Holmen resident. “How great is [it to give] toys to needy children and get a massage for myself. It really is a win/win. The Globe [massage] students are always amazing, professional, and relaxing.”
The Globe Tonic Touch Massage Club coordinated the fundraiser and volunteered to provide chair massages.
“I feel that [the Toys for Tots Massage Drive] is a great way to help the community and…make a difference for children,” explained Heather Cook, Globe massage student. This is the second annual Toys for Tots Massage Drive. Globe University-La Crosse massage students volunteer at multiple community events to provide massages. In addition, they hold an annual Massage-a-thon to raise funds for Z93’s ZCare Community Fund. Globe students enjoy using their massage skills to help raise funds and support local causes.
“I feel good that I’m able to help people in need who live in my community,” shared Rebecca Felten, Globe massage student.
