Massage therapy student Brittany Wendt just completed her first quarter at the Minnesota School of Business in Moorhead and trying to manage classes and her one-year old son, Maddox, isn’t easy. Recently, Wendt became involved with the ‘Jeremiah Program’ to help her achieve her goals, while trying to raise her son. This program’s model is uniquely designed to fit the needs of single mothers and their children. The goals for the ‘Jeremiah Program’ revolves around three core foundations including affordable housing, early childhood education, and empowerment training.
Wendt was featured by WDAY-TV 6 News for her involvement with the program and explains how it helps her manage all of the different aspects of her life. The program takes 10 weeks to complete and so far, Wendt is right on track to do so.
