Minnesota School of Business Hands Out A Pair of Bikes at Big Bikes and Little Tykes Event

Morgan Haugen was one of the recipients of a bicycle sponsored by Minnesota School of Business.

The Village Family Service Center held its 2nd annual ‘Big Bikes & Little Tykes’ fundraiser to benefit Nokomis Child Care Centers in Fargo. Minnesota School of Business in Moorhead helped purchase two bicycles to be raffled off to children at the event. 25 bicycles were given away overall.

Many of the children that attend Nokomis are from single-parents working several jobs to keep families together or trying to get an education to move themselves out of poverty. These are kids in foster care with parents in prison, children from new American families, or children with behavioral, mental or physical health issues that make them unable to receive care in other facilities. The nearly $20,000 raised at the event helps provide scholarships to families in need.

MSB-Moorhead also had a table at the event with information on all programs offered at the campus.

There were also inflatable games, motorcycle displays, raffles, silent/live auctions, and live entertainment from bands 32-Below, Tripwire, and Blind Joe.
