Several representatives from the Minnesota School of Business in Moorhead spent an evening thanking all veterans and servicemen at the F-M RedHawks game on Friday, July 13th. The Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo Chamber held a ‘Military Appreciation Night, with 500 service men/women and families in attendance. The campus was a proud sponsor with 20 other businesses.
The Minnesota School of Business had a table with information at the stadium and handed out military lanyards to attendees. The evening included a picnic meal at the stadium and a ticket to the game.
All RedHawks players wore camouflaged military jersey’s that were auctioned off after the game. All proceeds went to local military organizations. Director of Financial Aid, Lisa Roesch, and Community Relations Specialist Brian Shawn are members of the Chamber Military Affairs Committee that helped organize the evening.
“We are always happy to support our local military families and this was a great opportunity to show that support,” Roesch said.
