The Veterinary Technology Club at Minnesota School of Business-Moorhead continues to be strong advocates and donors for area animal shelters and humane societies. After working diligently on numerous fundraisers, the club made significant donations to the Fargo-Moorhead Humane Society, Pennington County Humane Soceity in nearby Thief River Falls, and Ottertail County Humane Society in Fergus Falls.

“We have had such a great relationship with the staff and students at MSB,” says Ericka Stoltenberg, Shelter Manager at the OTC Humane Society. “They provide such great care for our animals.”

Stoltenberg was named Veterinary Technology “Community Partner of the Year” at the recent Minnesota School of Business-Moorhead Community Partner Dinner.

“We are glad to be able to help these organizations out because we know they need help,” says Vet Club President Jill Guttormson. “We will continue to fundraise and support them the best we can.”

The Veterinary Technology Club also routinely volunteers at a number of events in the community. The students clip nails, clean ears, and answer general questions from pet owners on care.
