The Minnesota School of Business-Moorhead held its first annual “Military Appreciation Night” on campus Thursday, November 10th, in honor of Veterans Day. Over 100 military service men and women attended the event with their families.
This event offered a number of free services including estate planning, spa treatments, massages, information on starting a business, pet demonstrations, blood pressures checks, resume reviews, and interviewing tips.
“I was very impressed with the detail that Minnesota School of Business showed in providing a display of appreciation for our area Vets,” says Veterans Upward Bound Director Jeri Vaudrin. “There was the availability of things a lot of Vets wouldn’t necessarily have accessed, such as reflexology and massage.”

” I think the event was well attended by service providers as well as military and veteran families in the area,” says Dave Bellefuille, Minnesota Veterans Affairs Coordinator for the Northwest Region. “It was great for all of service members to get treated so well.”
The Minnesota School of Business in Moorhead plans to continue this event in the future, with hopes of growing it every year.
