As we begin a new quarter in the Online division, we wanted to take a moment and introduce you to two of the newest instructors to join the Online team.
First up, Daniel Roddin.
Daniel is the sole Mathematics Instructor on the Minnesota School of Business-Elk River Campus. He holds a B.S. in Applied Math and Statistics from Stony Brook University, and a M.S. in Mathematics Education from Western Governors University.
Daniel has been a Mathematics Instructor at Minnesota School of Business for over three years and a mathematics tutor for over 12 years. One of Daniel’s passions is integrating technology into the classroom to offer his students an individualized learning experience. Daniel is in charge of teaching classes ranging from developmental math to upper college level mathematics, and he has had the opportunity to serve on the Curriculum Development Committee, reviewing and editing courses offered through Globe University and the Minnesota School of Business.
Daniel grew up on Long Island in New York, and it was there he met his wife, who was originally from Minnesota. When his wife started missing home and her family, Daniel proposed and followed her back. While Daniel says he misses New York at times (beach, food, family), the atmosphere and activities Minnesota has to offer have grown on him.
During his free time, Daniel can be found outdoors biking, at the park, and spending time with his wife and son.
Next we have Michael Schwartz.
Michael began working in our Online Career Services at Globe University and Minnesota School of Business in February 2014. He currently assists with accounting, paralegal, and business management students as a career services coordinator. Michael says the part of his job he enjoys most is assisting students in reaching their career goals.
Mike attended St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, and received a B.A. in Business Administration and minored in accounting. He has two years of experience working in recruiting and staffing, having edited resumes and worked with companies’ hiring departments.
On his new position as an Online instructor, Mike says, “I am excited to use my knowledge and experience to help our students learn.”
Welcome to the Online division Daniel and Michael!
