6 Student Discounts You Should Be Using

Being an online student doesn’t mean you should miss out on the perks of being enrolled in college! Start using your student status to save money for the upcoming holidays.


Microsoft – Microsoft offers deals and discounts to students enrolled at an accredited college or university. Simply enter your student email during the check-out process (usually ends in .edu suffix). The goodies are not limited to just Microsoft office either, check out the Xbox and Kinect offerings as well!


Student Universe– Planning on traveling during the holidays? Try booking your flight through Student Universe. At Student Universe, they offer exclusive deals, travel discounts and student airfare deals to both students AND faculty. It works just like any other online travel site, and even has a nifty price comparison option for the truly savvy saver.

Auto Insurance– Many insurance providers also provide a discount percentage for “good” students. Common providers such as: Geico, Allstate, and State Farm are just to name a few. Check with your provider to see what you could save!


24-Hour Fitness– Now that you’re tightening up your wallet, tighten up your waistline by saving on monthly membership dues at 24-Hour Fitness clubs.
