Department of Education Visiting MSB!

seth-tesdallDear Students, Staff, and Faculty,

As we near the end of Fall quarter, I want to take the opportunity to share some very important news regarding an upcoming assessment of our schools.  Starting today and running through Friday, December 17th, the US Department of Education (DOE) will be conducting a Program Review of our Minnesota School of Business campuses.  The review is taking place at our MSB Richfield campus, but will include all MSB campuses, including our MSB Online Division.  Keep in mind, the purpose of the Program Review is to assess MSB’s administration of Title IV funds and to provide feedback on how we can improve our administration of financial aid programs.

It’s important to note, that the DOE considers administration of Title IV to be an institution-wide effort and their review will include a thorough assessment of all our departments.  During their weeklong visit, they will be reviewing student files and policies and procedures, and they will also interview staff and students to confirm that all regulations and policies are being followed consistently and correctly.  We’re very excited to have an opportunity to present our schools, and we also believe that this review process will help us improve our internal processes to better serve our students.  If anyone has any questions about the Program Review, please feel free to contact me.

Happy Holidays to everyone and good luck the rest of the quarter!
