Disabled Veteran’s Dedication Helps Him Walk Again

Making the decision to go to college online is not an easy one. But, you made it, and up to this point you’ve hung in there and withstood the temptation to quit. However, there will undoubtedly be days where quitting might seem easier than fulfilling your goals and you might start to question your decision to go back to school.

Well, I present to you Arthur Boorman. As you’ll see in the video below, Arthur is a retired veteran who was told by his doctors that he’d never walk again without some kind of assistance.

That was unacceptable for Boorman. Having spent years being overweight and unable to get around effectively, Boorman made the conscious decision to dedicate himself to becoming a healthier man and father. Check out how that decision dramatically changed his life forever:

Just like Arthur Boorman, you have all made a decision to go to school and have remained dedicated to that goal despite the hurdles and obstacles you may have had to overcome in the process. Sometimes you will fall as a student and feel like giving up is the only option. But, I want you to remember Arthur. He fell over and over again, but remained dedicated to himself and eventually achieved the ultimate satisfaction of reaching his dream. You too can reach your goals, by staying steadfast in your dedication to your education.

“Never underestimate, what you can accomplish, when you believe in yourself.”
– Arthur Boorman
