Have a Research Question? Ask a Librarian!

Midquarter is here – meaning it’s time to get started on those final research papers and projects. The librarians are always available to answer research and/or APA citation questions before your final papers and projects are due.

How can you get in touch with us quickly?

You can chat with a librarian instantly during most days and evenings using the Chat button on the library website. We even have our full schedule posted online so that you’ll always know when there’s a librarian available to assist you.

If you’re away from a computer, you can also send us your question via text! The library’s Text/SMS number is: (651) 300-0550.

If there’s no librarian on duty, you can also try the Library FAQs! Just type your question in the box, and if it matches a FAQ, the answer will pop up instantly. If your question isn’t in our list, it will automatically be sent to a librarian who will get back to you asap.

Where can I find all this information in one place?

Our full contact information is listed on the library’s Ask a Librarian page.

Why ask the librarians?

The librarians are professionally trained to provide you with research support – by asking us you’ll save time looking for sources, and you’ll get better results than searching Google.

Good luck on your final papers and projects, and if you have questions, don’t hesitate to ask!
