Globe University-Online is excited to announce the newest addition to our faculty’s Dean team, Moira Donovan. As the new associate dean of faculty, Moira comes to the Online division with an extensive background working in education, and we couldn’t be happier to have her on our team!
A little about Moira’s education first. Moira began her college education at Metropolitan State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. After receiving her degree there, Moira went on to continue her education at St. Cloud State University where she earned her Master’s in Rhetoric.
Shortly after receiving her master’s, Moira began her career in education when she was offered the position of the Learning Recourse Center (LRC) coordinator at ITT Tech. Moira also served as the Associate Dean at the Eden Prairie, Minnesota, campus.
Moira say, “During my tenure at ITT, I taught several courses, ran the school tutoring program, oversaw LRC operations, and partnered with the dean to help with hiring, observing, and coaching faculty. I was responsible for the online courses for both the Eden Prairie and Woodbury campuses, being the contact person for any student issues or technological issues.”
When asked what she’s most looking forward to in her new position at Globe University, Moira said, “I am most looking forward to a new set of adventures.”
When Moira is not working, she says she enjoys spending her time outdoors kayaking during the summer and skiing in the winter.
Please help us welcome Moira to her new position at Globe!
