Welcome from the Dean of Paralegal!

Welcome to the paralegal program at Globe University and the Minnesota School of Business!  I am excited that you are thinking about your education and exploring our accredited programs!  As dean of the paralegal programs, I am extremely proud of the accomplishments of our graduates, our talented faculty, and the quality of our coursework.

Whether you are a recent graduate or returning to school, our hands-on training focuses on real- life paralegal skills and will prepare you to step into a rewarding legal career.  Our graduates gain skills that allow them to work in law firms, government offices, and corporate departments.

We are especially proud of our dedicated faculty, which consists of attorneys and experienced paralegals.  Many of our instructors practice law or work as paralegals in addition to their teaching responsibilities.  This allows the faculty to stay current in the law, follow trends in this career field and maintain strong community contacts.

We are continually reviewing our curriculum to make sure that we are providing the best possible program for our ever-changing society.  Our advisory boards also provide valuable information about market conditions, developments in technology and community needs, information we use to improve our coursework.

Students in our bachelor’s and associate programs participate in an internship course, where they work in law offices performing paralegal tasks under the supervision of attorneys. Our students often find this experience to be the most valuable part of their training.

Legal clubs and events, at our campuses and online, offer numerous opportunities to network with experienced legal professionals, attend career fairs, take part in mock trials, contribute to community service activities, observe court hearings, attend research training seminars, visit law firms and conduct research in a local law library.

Please let us know how we can help you achieve your career goals!

Wishing you success in your legal studies,

Terri L. Lindfors, J.D.
