Also presenting is Joseph Bazan. Joseph Bazan is the Legal Program Chair at the Elk and St. Cloud campuses of the Minnesota School of Business. His presentation is entitled The High Wire Act of Legal Writing: Where is the Safety Net?

Joseph Bazan will discuss convention and professional custom in legal writing by asking “Where is the Clarity and Grace?” He will share how a refinement of some of the most common language used by legal professionals can make documents and pleadings easier to read, write and understand. Along with specific language examples, he will offer brief commentary and history about why we write the way we do and what our clients expect from us.
