ST. PAUL, Minn. (April 8, 2015) – Jeff Myhre, CEO of Globe University, will speak at a panel discussion titled “A Conversation about the Purpose and Paths of Higher Education” on Thursday, April 9 at 3:30 p.m. as part of the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce Education Day 2015. Myhre and other local college presidents including Dr. Rassoul Dastmozd of Saint Paul College, Dr. Devinder Malhotra of Metropolitan State University, and Reverend Tom Ries of Concordia University of Saint Paul, will answer questions moderated by St. Paul Pioneer Press reporter Phil Pena. Education Day 2015 is a chance to explore the latest trends, understand the challenges and opportunities, and evaluate the relationship and responsibility of individuals and organizations with regard to education in the St. Paul and east metro area. The event will include sessions on leadership, early childhood development, issues in primary and secondary education, adult education and workforce development, as well as a tour of Saint Paul College.
