Globe University Commemorates Five-Year Anniversary with Mayor of La Crosse

LA CROSSE, Wis. (Oct. 10, 2014) – Globe University celebrates five years of providing career-focused education to students in the La Crosse area. To commemorate this achievement, the campus will host a business lunch on Tuesday, Oct. 14 from noon to 1 p.m. featuring speaker Tim Kabat, mayor of La Crosse. The college also invites students, alumni and community members to celebrate from 4 – 7 p.m. with food, games and prizes.


“We really appreciate the support we receive from the La Crosse community,” says Stephanie Donovan, campus director at Globe University-La Crosse. “Our business partners have been a big part of our success for the last five years, and we want to celebrate with them, along with our students and alumni.”


In the last five years, Globe University students have completed hundreds of applied learning projects in the local community, helping organizations in areas of business, accounting, technology, paralegal and health sciences.

The business lunch is for community partners, externship sites, companies who have recently hired Globe graduates, PAC members and more. The campus invites all community members to an open house celebration on Tuesday, Oct. 14 from 4 – 7 p.m. featuring a talking car from the Onalaska Police Department, live music, games, prizes, food, a photo booth and more.
