Madison, WI. (Oct. 20, 2015) –As baby boomers continue to age and people live longer, the need for qualified medical assistants is only expected to grow. In fact, the Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that growth at 29-percent over the next seven years—a rate that is much faster than average.
In honor of Medical Assistant Recognition Week (October 19-23) and to inform the public about this growing career field, Globe University will be hosting a Medical Assistant Alumni & Employer Panel at its Madison East campus this Wednesday from 6-7:30 p.m. Panelists will discuss the benefits and demand for medical assistants, as well as future jobs within their organization and the Madison market.
