Globe University Students to Keep Community Safe at Annual Oktoberfest USA

LA CROSSE, Wis. (Sept. 26, 2014) – Criminal justice students from the Globe University-La Crosse campus will volunteer at the 3rd Street Aid Station to provide safety services for the hundreds of thousands of attendees during Oktoberfest USA on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 6 – 10 p.m. Students will assist the La Crosse Police Department to help people who are hurt, lost, sick or otherwise during the event’s festivities. Some students will be located downtown to serve as guides to help people find the aid station, if necessary. This is the seventh year the aid station has been in operation.
