Globe University Supports Local Emergency Service Workers with Fundraising Event

WAUSAU, Wis. (Sept. 1, 2015) – Globe University-Wausau will host an Emergency Services Day on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the campus. This event celebrates the dedication of those working in emergency services, including firefighters, police officers and disaster relief workers. Family-friendly activities include face painting and other games, tours of emergency vehicles, a K-9 demonstration, blood pressure checks, chair massages, music and more. A variety of food and silent auction items will also be available, with all proceeds benefiting the Trooper Trevor Casper Memorial Fund. Trooper Casper worked for the Wisconsin State Patrol and was tragically killed in the line of duty in March of 2015.
