Wisconsin State Representative to Speak at Globe University – Eau Claire Graduation

Eau Claire (June 22, 2016)— Graduates at Globe University – Eau Claire will end their year with a message from Wisconsin State Rep. Warren Petryk. He has been invited to be the keynote speaker during the ceremony on Monday, June 27, 2016.

Petryk serves Pierce, Pepin, and parts of Eau Claire, Dunn, St. Croix and Buffalo Counties. He has been in office since 2011. He graduated from Boyceville High School in 1973 as valedictorian and attended UW-Stout for two years, then transferred to UW-Eau Claire and graduated with highest honors, earning his B.A. in philosophy in 1978.

Petryk serves as the Chair of the Assembly Committee on Workforce Development, Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Information Policy and Technology, and is a member of the Committees on:  Energy and Utilities, Insurance, Colleges and Universities, Veterans and Military Affairs, and Aging and Long Term Care.  Representative Petryk is also a member of the Governor’s Council on Workforce Investment.
